CLOTHING

Casual clothing is the standard on Cozumel, like most of the Caribbean coast. Ties are not required anywhere. Some upscale restaurants may have a medium dress code. During the winter months, you may need a light jacket or sweater. Comfortable, walking shoes, such as sneakers, are recommended all year round, especially for trips to the ruins. And don't forget your water shoes!
